Autumnal

October 31, 2011

 Green Dress: Romwe

Mustard Scarf: Monki

Shoes: Modekungen

Bag: WERA

So, this is the rest of what I wore yesterday. Yesterday was so much colder than today, btw, so yes I was kind of cold here. I've worn this dress once before but I don't think I've actually showed it to you, I really like the puffy sleeves and the fabric of it.

Okay, I've been having a chill-day today and right now I'm feeling a bit bored, because I should really clean my room and my closet etc, etc...but I hate cleaning. No, seriously Amanda. Just go do it already.

Salad & Mustard

October 30, 2011

This is what I look like today, just a detail for now.  I kind of love dressing up in colors that match the season of the year, you know? Mustard, deep green looks a bit like the world around me. The dress is from Romwe, the scarf from Monki.

More later on...

Retro Ryas And Cashmere

October 29, 2011

 Grey Cashmere Sweater: Edeis

White Shirt Dress: mom's

Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

Lipstick: Flormar [nr 521]

Today has been such a wonderful day, so relaxing with no obligations. I woke up at 11 am (for the first time in what seems like forever) and had a big breakfast/brunch with scrambled eggs and fruit. After breakfast I took a long walk in the sunny, rather warm autumnal day with the golden guy on the photos and then me and dad went and bought this rya-rug for my room..

Yes this is my room, for those of you who've wondered. It's very, very white because I like white, and it's also the place where I have my desk, my computer, where I edit all the photos for my blog and write up all posts - kind of like my office as well as my room. I have a feeling this carpet will be used a lot. By my dog, that is.

I got this super-comfy, nice cashmere sweater from my parents for my name-day a few days ago, I really love the simplicity of it. Cashmere is the best material for sweaters, also.

Now I'm having dinner, then I'm heading to the movies to meet up with Jenny!

Well, this means I will be a really great blogger this upcoming week!

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.

October 26, 2011

This quote comes from one of my all-time favourite movies. Anyone can guess which movie it is from?  You'll get a virtual cookie or something if you come up with the correct answer, haha!

Anyway, this is what I wore yesterday. Florals, but for autumn so I guess that's more groundbreaking right? Me and Cornelia also experimented with the extremely awesome vintage Minolta camera her math teacher gave her! Did you seriously hear that?! Her math teacher! Who gets a camera from her teacher just like that? Jealous? Me, no, never.

 Orange Sweater: Romwe

Floral Dress: Laundry Room/ Berlin

Shoes: Modekungen

 Vintage Minolta Camera: Cornelia's

E&E Autumn Release Party

October 25, 2011

[photo nr 1 and nr 4 are courtesy of the E&E glasses Facebook page]

During UmeƄ Fashion Week, me and Cornelia were invited to the (really awesome glasses brand) E&E releaseparty. It was the nicest autumn party, so cozy with soft lightening, great people and delicious drinks. And yes, we had some fun trying on those glasses - we just couldn't help it! ;-)

Now I have to go back to what I've been doing all week: studying. I have two exams this week (in Math and Economy, my two least favourite subjects...gah!) and I really have to focus now.

On Our Way To Halloween

October 24, 2011

Prepping a bit for Halloween by trying out some different possible outfits. Me and my friends always went all out on Halloween when we were little, walked around the neighbourhood and thought we looked totally scary when we were trick-or-treating dressed like witches (NOTE: I think we looked more like totally cute and silly, haha!). These days I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween, although I kind of like the fashion possibilities that come with it.

I brought my totally cute dog with me (Mr. Gimli) who somehow never manages to look scary, no matter how hard he tries.

(transparent black dress: Thrifted&Modern, knitted navy sweater: VILA, shoes: Modekungen, rings: Thrifted&Modern, necklace: gift from parents)

I am wearing this really cool, transparent dress from Thrifted&Modern, which I got (as a gift) a really long time ago but didn't find the perfect thing to match it to until now. The really nice, navy blue knit comes from VILA and my shoes are from Modekungen. Oh and the really cool rings are also from Thrifted&Modern , you should definitely check out that store if you haven't yet - one of my current online favourites for sure. Especially if you like the dark romantic things, like I do.
