 My mom and I were doing some shopping yesterday (and I came home with a pair of absolutely brilliant black pants from Rodebjer) and we managed to capture these photos as well, on this very windy day. But then again, when is it not windy in my city?

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve and I just can't believe how many things have happened this past year, many great things. My blog has literally gone from 0 readers to more than 2000 readers daily (!!), I have made some amazing new friends and contacts, I have become somewhat less mature than I was a year ago (but in a very good way) yet still very much more grown-up and secure. 

Thank you all of you for this amazing year, because you give me joy every day by just being so charming and amazing in this comment field below, in my mail inbox and on my Twitter!

Christmas Eve/Romwe Giveaway Winner

 A lot of you have asked what my brothers look like, what my family looks like and here is your answer: haha! These photos kind of captures my family's Christmas Eve, I jut love Christmas Eve - it really is the Swedish Thanksgiving, kind of. Everyone gathers together and just have a good time, eat, laugh, giving thanks to each other buy giving each other gifts. And yes, look at the quite intimidating yet cute Santa that came to visit us (and NO, it's not my brother at all - shhh!). 

My brothers are the sweetest, too(they gave me two awesome gift cards: one on Nelly.com and one on NastyGal!. And the first thing they did when they opened the door on Christmas Eve afternoon was:

 And later I realized that I maybe was actually channeling my inner Marilyn.

Christmas Day

 Yesterday I just spent time with family, like usually on Christmas day, and me and my mom went out for a Christmas Day walk. The knitted (absolutely gorgeous, cozy) sweater I am wearing is a Christmas gift from my lovely cousin, she certainly knows me and my taste when it comes to fashion. It's just the perfect Christmas/winter sweater, even though the green grass is showing here on more than one spot.   

Now I am heading even further up north, to my mom's relatives, so I am preparing myself for a long car ride.

Holiday Greetings(video)!

Today is December 23d, the day before Christmas and I am beyond excited! I am so happy, we have been preparing, cleaning, gift-wrapping all day long and now we're having a pre-Christmas dinner and later on Christmas tree decorating is on the schedule. 

But I just want to wish you all Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas with this little silly video I made earlier today, at one point it's a bit over-exposed for some reason but never mind! I talk about Swedish Christmas specialties...ha!

This will be our Christmas Card

 So last night I thought I would shoot some photos along with my dog, kind of Christmas-y and cute, you know? Since it's actually Christmas in just a few days(!!)..but he wasn't really in the mood for being photographed so it was nearly impossible to get a good photo with him, haha! That is why I have a total weird smile on face and he looks past my head at something else, trying desperately to go and do something else. 

I am wearing a knitted sweater from VILA, heels from Jeffrey Campbell , an American Apparel skirt and a ClubCouture shirt.

Going Blonde

 Ladies and gentlemen...I have finally done some change to my hair! I've had that ombre kind of a dark-blondish color for as long as I can remember now and I wanted to see something else when I looked in the mirror. 

So I went to my really talented hairdresser, told her my ideas and she transformed my hair into this gorgeous (well, at least that's what I reckon) silver-blonde color. Frankly, I do love it! 

Even though it will take some time to get used to. But I've always identified with different blondes all of my life, I've always felt like a blonde, I've always acted like a blonde (not in any of the bad ways). 

And you know,for your information, blondes actually do have more fun.

 Has anyone of you seen the trailer of the upcoming movie The Iron Lady yet? Well first of all, if you haven't I think you should: it looks SO good! Anyway, in the trailer you can see Meryl Streep, playing British Prime minister Margaret Thatcher, wearing almost an identical fabric in one of her dresses as the fabric of the dress in these photos. 

Although, with all due respect to Margaret, I felt the need to mess this conservative look up a bit by adding a dark eye-makeup (for once!) and throwing on my rugged American flag jacked for the right messed up patriotic feeling. 

Because you know, it's all about the contrasts.
