The Style Gossiper

Sometimes I'd buy Vogue instead of dinner, I just felt it fed me more.

"When I first moved to New York and was totally broke, sometimes I'd buy Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more."

- Carrie Bradshaw

I am probably not the only one who just loves the feeling of having a brand new issue of Vogue in my hands. The inspiration you get from reading the articles, from looking at the photos and at the same time dreaming away of how it would be to actually work there is just amazing. Vogue. The bible of fashion. Anna Wintour would then be the God(ess) of fashion, I suppose?

This particular issue, the January 2012 issue makes me even happier since they put one of my biggest role models on the cover: the absolutely beautiful Meryl Streep. I love how they just kept her look natural, she doesn't need a Vogue-makeover in order to look absolutely stunning. And she's 62 years old, talk about aging well! So inspiring.

  2. I can't believe your top is a dress. It looks so much like a crop top. Perfect placing of sheer fabric.

Haha I have the last issue of Vogue right now. I was just looking at it.

I really admire Vogue Italia and Nippon especially for their absolutely gorgeous editorials. They don't just touch on fashion necessarily, but deal with themes and ideas. They're probably my favourite editions.

  4. I love Vogue, but I don't buy new issues very often, they're ridiculously expensive in my country. Luckily I discovered that on my local flea market they sell almost new Vogues for about 2 euro each! Now I hunt for UK Vogue with Florence Welch on the cover <3
