Yes, you heard me (or read me, or it? Or whatever), I am going back to the States again! Tomorrow morning, in fact. To Montana, to spend a week with one of my very best friends, Brooke. Oh I can't even begin to explain how excited I am!!
Honestly, even though I am born and raised here in Sweden I somehow always have felt more connected to the U.S. The mentality, the culture, the attitude. There are things I dislike so much too, but then again, no country is perfect.
I thought I would have to wait until after high school graduation to go back there, so to head over there for a bit before that is quite simply amazing, and I will be there on the 4th, Independence Day, too which is just so dope.
I am not sure of how much I will have time to update my blog during the week, I will (of course) bring my camera so be expecting lots of photos when I get back to Sweden.
But for now, to keep you on my blog this week, let's have a Q&A session:
Ask me anything and I will reply in a post later on, really ANYTHING though, I love weird, goofy, funny questions. SO GO:
Either ask in a comment below or in the box below, I will reply either way:

i can honestly understand how you feel about the us because it's exactly the same with me, just with Sweden :) i constantly feel that i should have born and live there. well, maybe one day :) and for you: have fun and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to hear that you are headed to Montana. It is a gorgeous state. Just fields of grass and mountains. No big cities and everyone is laid back and friendly.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Wyoming (directly south of Montana) and if you have time I definitely recommend visiting Yellowstone Park and Tetons National Park in Wyoming. Oh and Jackson Hole too! Its a lovely town and you can definitely get a feel of an authentic western town. There are also many delicious restaurants, very western (so be prepared for steak and beef- haha).
Montana is lovely and I am sure you will love it! It is a different pace than NY (very different). One of the few places left besides where I grew up that is laid back with wide open spaces. The best place to view stars too at night. :)
Have fun!! Can't wait to see pics. I miss my home!

Kram
I find that so interesting hearing that from you! I often believe that most Europeans actually dislike Americans and all their culture and ideals. The fact that you--being Swedish--feel more connected to the U.S. through her mentality, culture, and attitude is quite fascinating for me, as an American. I guess I never really thought that there were actually some Europeans out there that felt that way because I feel like the U.S. gets a lot of hate from other countries for the most part. I really did believe that Europeans for the most part do not like us whatsoever! It's funny, now that I actually heard the perspective from a European!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures! i love your blog, keep it up! (:
