In the autumn one of the main keys to a great style is a good coat. And I think I have find my perfect one.
It's burgundy (which is probably one of my favourite colors at the moment), it's kind of oversized and very cozy. And it has the most beautiful details. Like have you noticed the adorable collar? Preppy as I am, that collar was one of the things I first fell in love with when I saw this coat.

Hej tänkte skriva lite fina saker för att boosta ditt självförtroende, eftersom att jag trodde att detta var en liten blogg. Men nu upptäckte jag att den ändå är ganska så stor. Så då fick jag för mig att jag inte skulle göra det. Men sen kom jag på mig själv, varför inte liksom.

ReplyDeleteMen gud va fin! Tror jag själv sett den på Monki i veckan, min drömjacka måste nog vara deras tweed/boucle-kappa i liknande (dock kortare) form som de har i höst med! Verkligen en underbart vacker färg, läderdetaljen ger ju hela jackan lite "edge" :)

Where do I even begin?
How about let's start simple. Let's start with the color.
Burgundy/oxblood/maroon/whatever else the fashion world wants to call it. A rose by any other name would be just as sweet. This color by any name is just as fabulous. Seriously, could your jacket be more perfect for fall? The color is just so oooooh.
Then, there's the shape of the coat. There's something really minimal and simple about the oversized cut and the lack of embellishment. All focus is on the stunning color and the perfectly preppy little collar.
Could you ask for anything more?
I love that you styled your coat with tights and those funky clear Jeffrey Campbell wedge sandals. The combination of the clear, somewhat almost too summery heels and the perfectly warm-looking jacket is lovely.

At this moment in time, the way you styled your jacket (it looks lovely against your yellow satchel!) is making me dream of a large burgundy jacket as well. Ask me at any other time and my ideal coat would probably be something a little more neutral and boring. Perhaps a black, gray, or navy blue vintage peacoat or a cute little toggle coat? That sounds about right to me :)
