Q: How can you dress stylish
in winter? When it's so cold outside I just go with simple but really warm
clothes and I can't think of being stylish when I’m freezing :) but you always
look so awesome even if you live in Sweden where winter can be really cold :)
Thank you so much, first of all! And yes, winter is not my favourite time of the year at all, and definitely not when it comes to putting together clothes. I wish I would have a better answer to your question but the thing is: most people would probably say that I'm not that good at adapting to winter, since I seem to wear the same styles I wear in the summer, but with tights and a cozy coat for when I'm outside. But really, if you want advice: wear knits above the summer-dresses and short skirts, looks great and it will keep you warm! And invest in a beautiful coat, because a nice/trendy coat will make you feel stylish almost every day!
Q: What is your original
hair color? I remember when you dyed your hair brunette, now it's almost blonde
again. Did the brunette color fade or you re-dyed it? btw you look beautiful
with both color :)
My original hair color is dark-blonde-ish, but I
hardly remember myself with all of the coloring I've been doing! And the
brunette has just been faded by the sun. I actually don't know which hair color
I should have now. And thank you!
Q: That 'job', you (and Cornelia?) had, where you styled a special part of the secondhandstore: How did you get it, did you get paid, and what should you do? :-)
Well I think what you're referring to is the volonteer
work we've been doing for The Red Cross second hand stores in Umeå. And I got
it because of my blog, because they wanted to add some
more"trendy-ness" to their city store, and so I brought Cornelia in
and we have been styling and marketing for them for a while now. I also styled
their fashion show during fashion week (along with some other talented
people).
And since it's volonteer work I don't get paid, I do it for free, because it's for a good cause and it's fun and it gives me experience!
Q: Hi! I am starting an internship soon where I'll have to wear formal clothes every day. Any tips on formal wear?
Oh, fun! Well I am very into the peplum trend at the moment, and that is very formal: so maybe buy anything with a peplum, if you buy a top match it with a pencil skirt and heels maybe? And dresses are great, too! Match a little black/royal blue/burgundy dress with heels and a coat, that would look awesome! Also there is a lot of formal wear right now with beautiful patterns, such as baroque and rokoko..so if you can find something like that, it would look great too.
Q: Do you watch any beauty/fashion
gurus on youtube? If so, which are your favorites?
No, I don't actually..I follow blogs on Bloglovin' and
Tumblr but not on YouTube.
Q: Could you make a video
showing your room? I'd love to see it, it always seems so pretty in the
background :)
Here is a video mini-tour of my house that I did a
while back (including my closet and my room), so you can have a look at that, I
might do a more in-dept tour of my room too if enough people want one! And
thank you, I really love my room!
Q: Are you planning to
"work" as a blogger or have a different occupation in the future?
I want to work in fashion. But as a blogger? I don't
know, it depends on how successful my blog can be, I might have it as a
side-job, because I sure do love it!
Q: Are you thinking of
studying fashion?And where?
I am, and I am in the process of applying to a couple
of fashion schools so if I get in that is what I'm doing!
Q: What fashion magazines/blogs
do you follow?
I follow tons of them, so it's REALLY hard to pick a
couple of favourites. I think a follow about 100 blogs on Bloglovin' and about
200 blogs on Tumblr and I like them all, otherwise I wouldn't follow them haha!
But my favourite blog right
now is:
The Sartorialist - I've been following Scott Schuman for quite some time
but I have just fallen in love with him and his blog now, the way he captures
people all over the world with his camera is just beautiful to me. The concept
of his blog is great and so are the photos.
